Employment Opportunities

Musselshell Helitack seeks self-disciplined and physically fit individuals to be members of our organization. Crewmembers also need to be responsible, trustworthy, and “team players”.  Wildland firefighting is physically demanding and requires that crewmembers show up at the beginning of the season in a high level of fitness.  Physical fitness preparations should start 6 – 8 weeks prior to your start date.

Hiring is done through the AVUE process. Jobs are announced on the AVUE Digital Services website, as well as the USAJobs website. The hiring process usually starts in January and can continue into Spring, depending on employee turnover. It is always helpful to contact us to show interest in being a part of Musselshell Helitack.
